Offered daily, you - and your bike! - can ride the Elk Camp Gondola to mid-mountain reaching nearly 10,000 feet and enjoy miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, ACES nature walks, disc golf, climbing wall, fishing and special programs offered for adults.



Friday through Sunday, take the Elk Camp lift to the 11,300-foot summit where you can soak up breathtaking views of the famed Maroon Bells or enjoy a hike back down the Elk Camp Gondola on our new Summit trail. After you've worked up an appetite, have lunch on-mountain at Elk Camp Café or dinner in base village at Sneaky's Tavern. Mountain bikes are available for rent at Four-Mountain Sports. And be sure to take advantage of the FREE PARKING in the base village parking garage all summer.

****Maroon Bells and Gondola Combo
Purchase a Gondola/Maroon Bells Combo ticket for the two most popular attractions in the Roaring Fork Valley – a ride on the Silver Queen Gondola on Aspen Mountain or Elk Camp Gondola on Snowmass AND the Maroon Bells Bus Tour. This ticket provides access to the gondola ride and the bus tour (two separate excursions). Tickets can be purchased at the Rubey Park Transit Center on Durant Avenue, the Gondola Ticket Kiosk at the base of Aspen Mountain, the ticket office adjacent to the Elk Camp Gondola at the base of Snowmass and Four-Mountain Sports at the base of Aspen Highlands. Mountain biking via the Elk Camp Gondola! 

 The Elk Camp Gondola will take you and your bike to the beautiful midway point on the mountain where you can access more than 40 acres of trails of every level! A trail system covering 40 miles of terrain including gentle roads to challenging single track - novice riders and experts alike are sure to get their fill here. Whether you're just getting your feet wet in the world of mountain biking or looking to hone your skills in the sport, lessons are offered through Camp Aspen/Snowmass. Bikes - mountain, downhill, cruisers, performance road and kids - are available for rent at Four-Mountain Sports in base village.  Bikes can only be hauled on the Elk Camp Gondola for an additional fee. Snowmass is also mountainboard friendly.

Snowmass Thursday Night Summer of FREE MUSIC Series
Don't miss family-friendly Thursdays at Snowmass! The fun kicks off at base village with FREE live music, face painting, arts & crafts for kids, and FREE sand volleyball & horseshoes, then moves up the mountain via the FREE Sky Cab gondola to a FREE outdoor concert on Fanny Hill. Kids ages 4-10 can hang at Movie Night at the Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center, and enjoy dinner & a movie while grown-ups enjoy the concert. Call 970-923-8733 for more info about Movie Night. 

Run & Gun Paintball   Join us for a wild game of paintball. We offer an outdoor course and lots of games on the mountain. Group rates are available for parties of 10 or more. Hot Air Balloon Rides - Lofty, panoramic views of the Elk Mountains and glimpses of the local wildlife make this a truly spectacular adventure. Aces Guided Nature Walks - Let a naturalist from the Aspen Center for Environmental Studies (ACES) guide you on a walk through the beautiful subalpine forest, while taking in the views and learning about local wildlife. Offered daily at 1 PM. Meet at the top of the Elk Camp Gondola Monday-Thursday; meet at the top of Elk Camp Lift Friday - Sunday. For something more kid-friendly and family-oriented, a Nature Trail walk is offered daily at 10 a.m. leaving from the Snowmass Ticket Pavilion. All walks are FREE and last approximately two hours.

Sneaky's Tavern - Located in base village next to the Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center, Sneaky's Tavern is a popular destination for summer visitors and locals alike. Offering American bistro-style cuisine, complete with an indoor/outdoor bar in a relaxing and comfortable setting,
